Everything you need to know about our Restaurant Club
Monthly Dining Events
We host exclusive dining experiences each month at different restaurants around Charleston
Each month, we organize a lunch or dinner at a new restaurant in Charleston, providing a unique opportunity to explore the city's culinary scene with other foodies.
Limited Capacity
Each event has a limited capacity of 8-14 spots (restaurant dependent) to ensure an intimate dining experience.
Between 70-80% of spots are reserved for VIP members, with the remaining seats saved for irregular diners and newcomers.
If you're a VIP member, you'll be placed into the reserved VIP spots on a first come first serve basis when RSVPs open. Newcomers and irregular diners will be seated in the remaining available spots also on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Becoming a VIP member gives you priority access to our monthly events
How to become a VIP member:
Attend at least three events and you'll automatically be upgraded to VIP status. (This may change to six events as the club grows)

RSVP Process
How to secure your spot at our monthly dining events
- Sign up for notifications
You'll receive an email when a new event is posted.
- RSVP as soon as spots open
Spaces fill up quickly, especially for non-VIP members.
- Confirm your attendance
You'll receive a check-in email 72 hours before the event that must be completed at least 24 hours before the event.
Waitlist System
How our waitlist works when an event is at capacity
If an event is full, you can join the waitlist for a chance to attend if someone cancels.
How the waitlist works:
- Join the waitlist on the event page
- Your waitlisted events will be displayed in your account settings
- If a spot opens up, we'll contact everyone on the waitlist immediately
- Everyone is notified at the same time to prevent delays. It will be on a first-come, first serve basis (regardless of VIP status) to secure the spot
Important:
If you join the waitlist but later realize you can't attend, please cancel your waitlist RSVP through your account. This will give us an accurate count of how many people remain interested in attending and we don't have to send any unneceesary emails.

How we keep you informed about upcoming events
We send several notifications to keep you informed about events:
- New Event Notification
Receive an email when a new event is posted
- One Week Reminder
This is your opportunity to cancel if needed so waitlisted members can join
- 72-Hour Check-in
You must confirm your attendance at least 24 hours before the event
- Waitlist Notifications
If you're on the waitlist and a spot opens up, we'll contact you
Cancellation Policy
Our rules for cancellations and no-shows
👍 Acceptable:
Cancellation with more than 24 hours notice
👎 Not Acceptable:
Last-minute cancellations or no-shows
Our Account Deactivation System:
- First Mark: Canceling within 24 hours (first-time emergencies excepted if communicated in advance)
- Two Marks: You'll be waitlisted for the next month (no guaranteed spot)
- Three Marks: We'll ask you to take a three-month break from RSVPing
Out of respect for our hosts time, and all other attendees, please try to cancel as soon as possible if you know you no longer can attend. But marks reset every year, so it's all good in the long run.
No-Show Policy:
No-shows with no contact will result in a block on your account, preventing you from attending future events. To reinstate your account, you must process the $25 cancellation fee that our host likely incurred.
To cancel, go to your account page, find the event under "Upcoming Events," and click cancel.

How we choose which restaurant to visit next
We have a fun and fair way of choosing our next dining spot:
The Spin Wheel Method:
- After each dinner, we put everyone's name into a digital spin wheel
- Whoever gets picked chooses the next month's restaurant
- The only rule: it must be a place they haven't been to before
This helps us explore spots that might not be on everyone's radar and personalizes the experience!
